We are currently recruiting for a bookkeeper to join our outsourcing division where you will be a key member of a growing team.
You will have your own portfolio of clients where you will undertake:
Bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of sole traders’, partnerships and limited companies which vary across sectors
Prepare VAT returns
Balance sheet reconciliations
Payroll journals
We are a forward-thinking firm, and we have automated many of the mundane tasks, leaving you to develop your skills and provide a valuable service to our clients.
Essential Requirements:
– At least 3 years prior practice Bookkeeping experience
– AAT Qualified
– Knowledge of Xero and other cloud accounting software platforms
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Able to effectively manage workflow of multiple clients whilst demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines and expectations are met.
– Willing to learn new systems and adapt to changing working practices
– Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel
The firm uses CCH and Silverfin systems so any previous experience of these is considered advantageous.

We are currently recruiting for accounts trainees to join our growing Business Support Team in September 2022. We are looking for high calibre candidates with a strong academic record, an analytical mind and an attention to detail and accuracy. Candidates should be well rounded individuals with good communication and social skills.
Beech Business Services Limited offers an excellent training environment, which is challenging, supportive and enjoyable. The training offered is fully funded and includes both academic and personal development courses. Trainees joining from A Level would go onto a Level 4 Apprenticeship, working towards an Accounting Technician (AAT).
We will provide practical experience within a varied role including bookkeeping, VAT Returns, and year end accounts.
